“Boxing in the Burg” returns this Saturday night to Shooters Roadhouse

Some of the area’s best amateur fighters are coming to Amherstburg this Saturday night.

The Fighting Island Boxing Club is hosting this year’s “Boxing in the Burg” card at Shooter’s Roadhouse. There will be a tent set up in the parking lot.

Doors for the Sept. 12 boxing event will open at 6 p.m. with the fights starting at 7 p.m.

The cost is $25 and tickets will be available at the door. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

“Boxing in the Burg” is sanctioned by Boxing Ontario.

The Fighting Island Boxing Club is based at the Amherstburg Community Hub, located at 320 Richmond St.
