It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dan Di Pierdomenico on May 25, 2026 at the age of 94. Now reunited with his beloved wife Silvana DiPierdomenico (nee. Federico) (2014). 

Awesome father of Lino (Anita) DiPierdomenico and Clare (Tom) Wiedmayer. Adored Nonno of Kate (Trevor) Iles, Bianca DiPierdomenico Luke (Armani) Wiedmayer and Jordan Wiedmayer. Bis-Nonno to Owen Iles, His gardener in training. Son of the late Clementina and Pasquale DiPierdomenico. Predeceased by sisters Gilda (Victor) Scipione and Lucia (Corrado) Federico, brother in law Antonio Federico, Survived by his wife Betty Federico, sister in law Maria (Donato) Bucci. Also Survived by his treasured nieces and nephews who embraced his tales from the past. Born in Abbateggio, Italy, Dan arrived on Canadian soil July 1, 1948. He proudly nourished his loved ones with the bounty from his lifelong passion for gardening and making homemade pasta. He also enjoyed playing cards, specifically Euchre with his friends at the Golden Age Club in Amherstburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Cancer Society.
