Unexpectedly on June 15, 2026, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Geraldine “Nee Nee” for 62 years. Dearest father of Michelle Bowden (nee Duby) and husband Anthony, and son John Paul Duby. Loving grandfather of Madeline Bowden, Samantha Bowden, Lance Duby and Brooke Duby. Ron will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

Ron was Deputy Fire Chief of the Amherstburg Fire Department and a Firefighter in the Amherstburg community for over 40 years. Ron loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman and card player. Ron had an adventurous spirit and lived life to the fullest. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Private Family Moments were held and a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at a date to be announced.
