Friars, Bob

Surrounded by his family, Bob joined the angels in Heaven on July 7, 2026. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Tina (nee Wigle) and his 3 sons, Rob (Ashley), Jeff (Stephanie) and Adam (Josslyn). Adored Papa to Declan, Irelyn and Isabella. Dear son of the late Bob and Florence Friars. Brother to Bill (Barb), John, Rosemary (Gerry) Finnegan, late Gail Bratt (late Bernie Krebs, late Donald Bratt), Valerie (Bill) Caulkins, Susan (Tony) Jaber, and Tom (Sue Gaunt). Dear brother-in-law to the late Kay (Chip) Martin, Meg (Kevin) Atkinson, and Jay (Cheryl) Wigle. Bob will be missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Bob loved to play golf and shoot pool and was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He sang bass with the barbershop guys and with the St. Johns Choir. 

If you so desire, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. 

In Keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
