Obituary - Gene Chikaz

Gene Chikaz 

June 5, 1938 - August 10, 2026

With the love of his family, Gene entered eternal life on Monday, August 10th, 2026. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Alice (2020), with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. The best father to Debra White (Dennis), and Lynn Bellefleur (Bill). Proud grandfather to 8 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Finn (Pete), Beatrice Crepp (John), and brother Steve Csikasz (Camille). Brother-in-law to the late Ronald Cadarette (Pat), the late Larry Jones (Joann), Ernest Cadarette (Gloria), and Marcella Best (James). He will be deeply missed by many extended family, nieces and nephews, dear friends, and most special friend Mary Johnston.

A memorial visitation has taken place from 10am until time of service at 12pm, on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at Families First Amherstburg ( 585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V 0E2).
