Of Amherstburg. Passed away peacefully at the Erie Shores Hospice on September 27, 2026 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Robert "Big Bob" Homuth (2014). Ruth is survived by her son Bobby (Joyce), daughter, Donna (Terry), daughter-in-law Joanne, and predeceased by her children, George, David and Janet. She will be fondly remembered by her grandson Tom and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings, David (Winnie) and Gina (Gerry). She will be dearly missed by many close friends at Pleasure Beach and Pickering Tower Apartments, especially her best friend Moe. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Erie Shores Hospice team for their outstanding care of Ruth in her final journey. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Erie Shores Hospice.
