Legion Bursaries

Royal Canadian Legion Fort Malden Br. 157 presented $500 bursaries to local high school at the general meeting May 21. Executive member Allan Carroll (left) presents bursaries to Denver Boismier (Villanova, going into firefighter program), John Christopher Berg (North Star, computer science), Miranda Rampersaud (North Star, pre-health sciences), Alexis Thomas (North Star, veterinary technician) and Lauren Coleman (Villanova, nursing). Absent are Zain Ibrahim (Riverside, mechanical engineering) and Cadence Flore (Erie Migration, psychology).
