Gerald "Jerry" Lucier 

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Gerald (Jerry) on July 28, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on October 24, 1938. 

Beloved husband of Mary Anne for 68 years. Predeceased by his parents Frances and Ernest Lucier. Dear brother of Dolores Bezaire (Mark) and the late Vern Lucier (Pauline). Dear father of Cindy Shafer (Roger), Rick Lucier (Kim) and Rodney Lucier. Dear Grandfather of Amanda, Jessica, Emily, Brandon, Katie, Cody, (late) Candice, Britney and Chelsea. Cherished great grandfather of many. Lifelong friend to the late Don Dalpee and Joe Beneteau. 

Jerry battled dementia for the last 7 years at Richmond Terrace; where he was given excellent care. Jerry retired from Seagram’s after 42 years as a mechanic. He loved baseball, hockey and his many winters in Florida. He was a volunteer fireman for the town of Amherstburg and the general manager of the Amherstburg Cardinals hard ball team. He will be greatly missed by all.
