The Rivertown Dance Academy Competitive Team had a great 2024/2025 season.

They attended three regional competitions in Hamilton, London and Windsor and many dancers also attended an American Convention in Lansing, Michigan. The dancers range in age from 5 to 18 and compete in all styles from ballet, jazz, hip hop to acro, tap and contemporary.

They warmed the hearts of audiences and received many accolades from adjudicators throughout their season.

This year, RDA implemented their Sparks Competitive Program for ages 5 to 7 which offers a smooth transition from their academy classes into the competitive environment.

It was an absolute success, and they are hoping to see it grow next season.

Ending the season on a high note RDA danced their way to Top Pre-Competitive Studio and Top Competitive Studio at Dynamite Dance Championship.

Many dancers also qualified for their national finals, which is being held right here in Windsor-Essex County at the St. Clair Centre for the Performing Arts.

Aside from RDA'S talented Competitive Dance Team, two of their dancers, Emma Cristofaro and Caitlyn Provost travelled to Spain to compete with World Performers Team Canada at Dance World Cup.

They are now ramping up for the 2025-26 dance season.
