The Dangerous Dog Committee upheld a muzzle order following incident. A May 12 confrontation between two dogs, another dog being walked by a girl in the neighbourhood and other residents led to bylaw charges and a muzzle order, the latter being challenged last week. After roughly 15 minutes of deliberating last Tuesday evening, the Amherstburg dangerous dog committee upheld the muzzle order. The Legion Br. 157 colour guard parades into Rose Hill Cemetery. A pair of ceremonies were held by Royal Canadian Legion Fort Malden Br. 157 to pay tribute to veterans who passed away outside of wartime and Legion members who died within the past year. The first ceremony was conducted in Rose Hill Cemetery in Amherstburg with the Legion and dignitaries that attended shifting to the St. John the Baptist Cemetery side for the second ceremony.
