Amherstburg Fire crews were called to Pickering Towers at 130 Pickering Dr. last Friday for sounding alarms and smoke in the building. A burning electrical issue had activated the alarms, deputy fire chief Dan Monk said. He added no active fire was found, and hydro was isolated by crews to a couple rooms.
