Volunteers with the Hope of St. Joseph Shelter Inc. were thanked at a barbecue at the home of Marc & Mary Beneteau for their work during their huge yard sale in August. The charity, which supports three children’s shelters in the D.R. Congo, is hosting a dinner Nov. 17 at Coachwood Golf & Country Club in McGregor. Dinner is $35 for adults and $18 for children under 10 years. The meal consists of chicken, roasted potatoes, vegetables, salad and bun. Desserts and pie table will be available.
