Impaired driving charge laid after Creek Road crash

The Windsor Police Service says that last Saturday (April 25) at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a reported single-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Side Road and Creek Road.
Upon arrival, police say officers located a vehicle that had overturned onto its side on the front lawn of a residence on Creek Road. No occupants were found inside the vehicle or in the immediate vicinity, police add.
A K9 unit was deployed to assist in locating any individuals who may have been involved and in need of medical attention.
Shortly thereafter, officers located a male on 4th Concession who is believed to have been the driver of the vehicle.
According to police, based on observations made at the scene and statements provided by the individual, the male was taken into custody and subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
