Donaldson, Robert William

On October 16, 2026, Robert William Donaldson passed away, leaving many broken hearts behind. 

Beloved son of Scott & Joan Donaldson, brother of Chris (John) and Craig (Jessica) Donaldson. Robert was a loving husband of Audrey Monette and devoted "Daddy" to Alyce, Louka and Damien (all of Verdun, QC). 

He will be dearly missed by his Aunt Sharon, several more aunts, uncles, cousins, his best friend Adam Hutchins, among many other friends. 

Robert will be lovingly remembered for his talents and passion in both music and art. Singing, playing guitar and painting are how he would let his creativity flow, and he enjoyed every moment. 

Robert also enjoyed skateboarding and watching sports; primarily football and baseball; the Las Vegas Raiders and Detroit Tigers were his teams! 

He will be remembered for his quiet yet kind and thoughtful nature. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 30, 2026, at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. South Amherstburg, ON., 519-736-2134), from 2pm - 5pm & 7pm - 9pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 11:00am. At Roberts' request, cremation will follow, and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
