On the weekend of July 10-12, the U10 Amherstburg Cardinals travelled to London to play in the annual London Talons tournament, which brings in teams from all over the province.
On Friday, the Cardinals lost to the Lakeshore Whitecaps 15-10.
The Cardinals defeated the Waterdown Wolves 19-10 last Saturday. While the Cardinals did not have their best defensive game, the offense carried the team.
Cameron DiPasquale led the way, going 3-for-3 with a home run and a triple. He drove in three runs, while Neil Mathieson drove in two.
Bradacs and Colton Garvey also had multiple hits.
On Saturday night, the Cardinals lost a heartbreaker to the Uxbridge Grizzlies 10-8. Brock Abraham pitched a fantastic game for the Cardinals on the mound, with Garvey and Tyler Hindermeier each contributing two hits. This was a fabulous baseball game that saw the Cardinals lose with the tying run at the plate.
Overall, it was a great weekend for our boys!
We would like to thank our parent group, relatives and fans for their continued support.
The U10 Cardinals next home game is July 21 against the Tecumseh Rangers in Malden Centre.
