World Cup fever

The Amherstburg Soccer Club invited players and coaches to attend The Fort Fun Centre for the June 12 World Cup match between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Much of the crowd was decked out in red clothing to cheer on the Canadian team. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Approximately 70 players, coaches and parents attended last Friday afternoon’s viewing of the match, which was played at Toronto Stadium at Exhibition Place.
