A large food drive is returning to Amherstburg later this month.
“Fill the Bus” is returning June 27-28 with residents encouraged to donate food to help local non-profit organizations. It runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. both days.
Non-perishable food donations and cash donations can be dropped off at the school buses in the parking lots of Sobeys, No Frills and Walmart.
Volunteers are still needed.
Donations help those in need in Amherstburg and area through Be the Light Outreach Ministry, the Amherstburg Food and Fellowship Mission, and Amherstburg Community Services (ACS). Text or call 905-699-8400 with questions or to help out.
