Fill the Bus returns June 27-28 A large food drive is returning to Amherstburg later this month. “Fill the Bus” is returning June 27-28 with residents encouraged to donate food to help local non-profit organizations. It runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. both days. Non-perishable food donations and cash donations can be dropped off at the school buses in the parking lots of Sobeys, No Frills and Walmart. The first weekend of Carrousel of Nations is in the books and it featured the Brazilian Village included as part of Open Air Weekends in Amherstburg (pictured) and the Irish Village at G.L.
