An individual from the United States has been fined $1,700 after an October court hearing. A man from Belleville, Michigan pleaded guilty to fishing without a licence and fishing with extra lines. The Amherstburg Fire Department has released its stats for the fourth and final quarter for 2025. Statistics show 454 incidents in 2025, with 131 in the fourth quarter of the year. A 29-year-old Amherstburg man is facing impaired driving charges after LaSalle police received complaints.
