Boblo dock removed

The demolition of the former Boblo dock on Front Road South took place last week. Demolition was first planned for mid-June but finally got underway last Wednesday.

Residents had expressed concern with the state of the dock for several years and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) allocated money this year for the dock’s removal. More photos are on the RTT’s social media sites.
