Two pets perish as a result of garage fire
A fire early Friday morning resulted in no injuries to humans, but saw two pets perish as a result. The Amherstburg Fire Department was called to the fire in the 100 block of Lowes Side Road in Amherstburg. Fire chief Michael Mio said crews were called to a fire in a detached garage.
