The Amherstburg U10 Cardinals returned to the diamond on June 30, hosting the Woodslee Orioles at beautiful Bill Wigle Park. Peter Szabo Sr. Peter Szabo Sr. passed away quietly in his sleep in his 101st year on June 27, 2026, while a resident of Richmond Terrace Long Term Care Facility in Amherstburg, Ontario. Peter was born in Hungary in 1925 and immigrated with his mother in 1928 to join his father in Canada.
