SEPTEMBER •The Harrow Fair brought together families, farmers, and fairgoers for a weekend of tradition, competition, and entertainment. The Libro Centre in Amherstburg was one of the four Essex County arenas busy during the Dec. 27-29 Hockey for Hospice tournment. The 29 th  annual Hockey for Hospice maintained its holiday tradition of kids having fun playing hockey and raising big bucks for Hospice at the same time. A small earthquake was reported in Amherstburg Jan. 1 around 11:19 a.m. The image from the Earthquakes Canada website shows the approximate epicentre and where reports of the earthquake being felt came in from.
