Lighthouse Church hosts Christmas meal
A Christmas dinner was hosted earlier this month by Lighthouse Church. Lighthouse Church opened its doors and welcomed the community to a meal Dec. 7. Council puts $200k into capital budget for Lowes-Sandwich intersection

Nearly 200 enjoy turkey dinner thanks to Encounter Church

Christmas Cantata
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church held their annual Christmas Cantata last Wednesday night with another being held as part of last Sunday morning’ service. Under the musical direction of Matthew Kulbacki and accompanied by Rev. Olwyn Coughlin’s narration, the choir and Rev. Shirley Carleton entertained the crowd with Christmas music. Stuff-A-Fire-Truck toy drive helps more families this year
Firefighters and community volunteers gathered at Amherstburg Fire Station #1 to sort and pack boxes of toys as part of the “Stuff-A-Fire-Truck” toy drive. The Amherstburg Firefighters’ Association held its annual “Stuff-A-Fire-Truck” toy drive and it concluded over the weekend.
